Jing Si Aphorisms . 静思语(十九)

To regard ourself lightly is prajna (wisdom).
To regard ourself highly is attachment.

A simple, uncomplicated, and non-contentious heart helps us to remain calm and grounded.
Then we will not be easily moved by external influences.

It is through learning from the trials of everyday life and human affairs that wisdom is attained.

Take up good deeds and let go of hard feelings.
In helping others to fulfill their goal, we too gain.

The greatest achievement is to stand up from failure.
