Jing Si Aphorisms . 静思语(二十二)

Good deeds brings happiness
evil doings endure sufferings

Helping others not only is a good virtue
but also a great enjoyment spiritually

We may be poor materially
but never be poor in our spirit and aspiration

With the right effort
there is limitless willpower

Jing Si Aphorisms . 静思语(二十一)

Transform greed into contentment,
and contentment into compassion.

The ability to love is a blessing.
The ability to eliminate afflictions is wisdom.

To not take things in life so seriously is not a negative, resigned attitude; it is a happy and proactive one.
It does not mean giving up hope; it is a genuine insight into the real purpose of life.

If our views and thinking are misguided,
what we do will be mistaken.
