Jing Si Aphorisms .

Life is like walking a tightrope; if we do not focus on what is ahead, but keep looking behind, we are sure to fall.

To be humble is to shrink our ego until we are small enough to enter another's eyes and reside in their heart and mind.

Equanimity nurtures wisdom. When we concentrate wholeheartedly on the task at hand and perceive the truth behind shifting phenomenon wisdom will naturally grow.

Engage in positive speech, refrain from gossiping.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

If our views and thinking are misguided, what we do will be mistaken.

A truly successful person is accepted by everyone and accepts everyone.

Use wisdom to contemplate the meaning of life. Use resolve to organize the time you are given.

Over time, we can build great character, achieve great success and cultivate great virtue.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

Nothing is impossible, unless we are not willing to do it.

Discontentment brings dissatisfaction, dissatisfaction causes regret.

Simplicity is beauty.

We may be poor materially, but never be poor in our spirit and aspiration.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

In the face of diversity, be grateful, for such opportunities do not come by easily.

We cannot love when filled with suspicion.
We cannot forgive when unwilling to believe.
We cannot trust when filled with doubts.

We cannot control the length of life, but we can always expand the breadth and depth of life.

The first step on the path of Buddhism is to lessen our desires and accept what we have.
Then our minds will relax and we begin to gain wisdom.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

Forgive those who unintentionally hurt us. Do not be someone who is easily hurt by others.

Hardworking signifies persistence and patience. To achieve great accomplishments, we must have a hardworking spirit.

Live a simple life to enjoy peace and bliss.

Be forgiving toward others. Be discreet in your speech.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

Knowledge can only become wisdom when we fully comprehend and internalize it.

Life is miserable when one is in a confused state of mind because one cannot make up one's own decision.

If the human mind can be rid off filth, revert to purity,
restore the innate nature, then only the great earth will be in harmony and at peace.

People who are willing to admit their mistakes and humbly improve themselves would enhance their wisdom.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

Jing Si Aphorisms .

Learn to develop pure and unconditional love; a love that has no sense of gain or loss, that asks for nothing in return. In this way we can be free of worries.

Affliction can be meaningful when we can grow wise from it.

With more gratitude, we will have fewer misgivings.

To forgive others is in fact being kind to ourselves.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

Making vows without taking any action is like ploughing a field without planting any seeds; so, there is no harvest to reap. This is letting opportunity pass us by.

Each time we forgive others, we are, in fact, sowing blessings.
The more magnanimity we show, the more blessings we enjoy.

Atheism is better than superstition. Faith must be guided by wisdom.

In the face of adversity, be grateful, for such opportunities do not come by easily.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

When life is safe and smooth, we can easily lose our direction. Yet even a small setback or misfortune can awaken our conscience, and nurture the seeds of kindness.

Seize every opportunity to do good, for once it passes, it is lost; try as we may, it will be too late.

Only those who respect themselves have the courage to be humble.

We start to slacken the minute we find excuses for ourselves.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

Everyone has unlimited potential

Be faithful and honest from deep inside, this is the essence of spiritual cultivation

Know your blessings, cherish them and sow more blessings

Jing Si Aphorisms .

It is through learning from the trials of everyday life and human affairs that wisdom is attained.

Richest is the person who is the most ordinary.

Rather than ask for blessings of fortune and longevity, ask for the blessing of piece of mind. Peace of mind will spawn more blessings.

The behavior of a person during his lifetime, be it good or evil, is accumulated over time.

Jing Si Aphorisms .

Pray for a world free of disaster.

It is meaningless to demand others' respect.
Only the respect inspired by the goodness of one's character is real and true.

The greatest achievement is to stand up from failure.

A kind heart enjoys heavenly bliss;
An evil mind experiences hell.
